Oxidized Starch
Oxidised starch we export is one of the most common modified starches in surface sizing because of its good film forming characteristic and reduced tendency to retro-gradation. It improves quality of paper and cardboard on the basis of primary and secondary semi-finished products. Oxidized starch is a commonly used modified starch in surface sizing applications. It possesses excellent film-forming characteristics, contributing to better quality for paper and cardboard products. Compared to other starch types, oxidized starch exhibits reduced retro-gradation tendencies, which means it retains its properties for a longer time. However, it is important to control the amount of oxidized starch used, as excessive application might result in reduced paper strength and excessive sizing material costs.

APPLICATION:
Oxidized starch is one of the most common modified starches for use in surface sizing because of its good film forming characteristic and reduced tendency to retrogradation. Proven performance reduced linting and improved short-fiber bonding. Used for getting into mass and for surface sizing, increases strength and improves quality of paper and cardboard on the basis of primary and secondary semi-finished products.
